Vintage Chocolate / Gold / Tan Herringbone Tweed Wool Blend Coat. Merona brand, a Women's Medium w/a Tailored Flare Fit and Double Breasted Front. Measurements (approx): Length from top of shoulder to bottom hem 35.5" / across waist just under chest is 16.25" / Inner sleeve, armpit to wrist 17" / Top of shoulder to the wrist of sleeve 24" This is mine, I'm the only owner :-) and it's been w/me about 25 years, give or take. I've looked and simply cannot find this exact one anywhere. Over two decades ago I purchased this BRAND NEW and wore about 2 or 3 times. It's just not my size, but I TRULY want this to get a good home with someone who will love it! It's 60% wool, with nylon and polyester and the liner is shiny and pristine! It's a heavy weight quality, with an iconic look, you'll feel special in this. Added cherry is the belt, which can be fully removed and helps to taper or draw in your waist and create a lovely flare, which is exactly what the back was designed to do as you'll note in the photos. The shoulders are also padded, built into the liner; you'll feel like a boss in this. And the color is great - an perfect chocolate brown, then woven with tan, and you'll also notice hints of a gold sparkle weave. It's a very thoughtful and detailed coat. Large round buttons are a rich deep brown and patterned. You'll notice that it's still SO new that it has the original stitching that keeps the "pockets" sealed, which I did work to photograph, so look closely.
