This is a vintage Bruyere Garantie wooden tobacco smoking pipe, crafted from briar wood, in Europe. This was my Dad’s, he had since late 1940’s. It is a three piece design, long stem and hinged metal lid. The lid/cap was for outdoor use to protect the tobacco from wind and rain. Cord has deteriorated. The L406 identifies a shape within the manufacturer’s line. Three parts to be able to disassemble for cleaning. I have never cleaned up or done anything with it. Sentimental to me, but now maybe someone who collects or would want to restore might enjoy. Thank you, have fun posh shopping - 💙
