This is a stunning, high-grade Mexican Fire Opal that I’ve held onto because of its incredible weight and "Contra Luz" effect. It’s a heavy, substantial piece—not a tiny chip like you’ll usually find. The main crystal is water-clear with a dreamy lilac tint, but the real star is the thick ribbon of honey-orange fire running right through the center. When the sunlight hits it, the whole stone glows from the inside out.
