Rare vintage Sun Sensation Barbie doll collection from 1991 by Mattel, featuring five dolls still sealed in their original packaging. This bright summer-themed line is loved by collectors for its vibrant metallic swimsuits and colorful display boxes. The set includes: • Sun Sensation Barbie • Kira • Steven • Jazzie • Skipper Each doll comes with their original accessories and metallic beachwear. Packaging features the classic neon pink Sun Sensation Barbie graphics that defined early 90s Barbie aesthetics. Condition • Dolls are NRFB (New, never removed from box) • Packaging shows some shelf/age wear, Steven’s box has the most wear and the plastic attachment came off on one side of his torso, however the doll is still securely attached to the box wall • Plastic windows are intact • Some necklaces may have age-related metal wear(see Kira’s necklace) • 4 of 5 boxes are missing proof of purchase ✨ Skipper box still retains its original vintage retail price sticker from the early 1990s. ✨Several other boxes retain original early-1990s retail markdown price stickers (example $3.97), adding to the vintage retail history.
