earthmaiden2ndHello! Yes, this is a button up top that ties at the neck. It is hard to see in the photos but the black part buttons together. I would say that this runs true to size, but would be on the smaller size of large since it has no stretch. I am a small to medium and found it large on me, but not extremely so.
