julnik12 @finnlizfiona sure I have no problem with that. How old are you talking? From the 80s. And there’s a lot of ways. you can look for the craftsmanship of the bag, including lines zipper stitching, matching tag stitching. Logo should be crisp, and the tag stitching should be usually the same color as the bag . Depending on when you purchased it, there is a serial number inside the bag in back of the Dooney and Bourke tag.

julnik12 @finnlizfiona You should be able to tell two from the hardware alone if it’s shiny or if it’s dull or if it’s thin versus thicker. And if you’re still not sure you can always get authenticated. If you’re not sure you can always Google it there’s a ton of places out there that will authenticate. I think one of them is called legitgrails. And if you didn’t know too, if your purse needs repair Dooney will take it back and repair it. You have to fill out a form and send pictures.
