For sale is a beautiful, hand-carved Desert Ironwood (Olneya tesota) conch shell sculpture. This piece originates from Bahia Kino, Sonora, Mexico, a region world-renowned for the traditional ironwood carvings of the indigenous Seri (Comca'ac) people.
This sculpture is carved from authentic desert ironwood, known for being one of the hardest and densest woods in the world. It features a deep, rich chocolate-brown grain with a natural high-luster finish. The intricate "fins" and spiral tip demonstrate exceptional craftsmanship.
Approximately 6.5 inches long
