Sea Island cotton is one of the rarest and most luxurious cottons in the world, prized for its extraordinary softness, silky luster, and long-staple fibers. Often called "the cashmere of cottons," the hand feel is so fine these gloves are easily mistaken for kid leather. Interior stamped: "Christian Dior / Sea Island / 100% lavable / 7" Mid-forearm length with elegant, unadorned styling and beautiful hand-stitched detailing along the back and fingers. Fourchettes (finger side panels) are intact and well-constructed. These are a master class in mid-century glove making.
