hello, I was wondering if these are a true size 9 or would you describe them as a snug 9? I wear these exact shoes in a 9, but the last time I ordered from eB...y the shoes fit like a 8.5

They are a true size 9, but it depends upon the socks you wear. With thicker socks they feel a bit snug, so for hiking you may want to go up a half size. For walking and regular socks they should fit fine.
