Vintage Lapis Lazuli Gold Drop Earrings

A pair of vintage handcrafted earrings featuring teardrop & circular lapis lazuli cabochons set in gold-plated filigree. These eye-catching filigree earrings are typical of Central Asian artisanal jewelry, specifically Afghanistan, known for its vast lapis lazuli mines in the Badakhshan province. They do show a slight patina, consistent with age & occasional wear. Lapis lazuli stones are secure & wire hooks remain functional. Gold plating shows some minor thinning on the high points of the filigree, but otherwise they’re in great vintage condition.
