Good pre-owned condition Absolutely adorable "Sweets for Eloise" cookie jar with lid from Department 56. It is based on the character called Eloise by Kay Thompson. Eloise is sitting on her chair at the Plaza Hotel with her turtle Skipperdee sitting on her lap. Sitting on top of the chair over Eloise's shoulder is her pug dog, Weenie. Please take a moment and look at the pictures. They capture the design and style better than any of my description. The cookie jar measures approximately 10 1/2" tall by 6" wide by 5" deep. Some of the paint has worn off in a few spots, see pics, nothing major but you can touch it up with nail polish of that color. See pics for measurements
