Vintage Guardian Service Cookware coffee dripolator coffee maker or pitcher or beverage urn with lid. Made by the Century Metalcraft Corporation of Los Angeles , California , pre-WWII of hammered aluminum with bakelite handles. **NOTE: bakelite handle on coffee maker insert shows signs of wear and heat. Handle on pitcher is excellent. See photos. Pot is heavy duty. Some even use it for camping! This coffee pot stands about 14 ½ inches tall as a coffee maker. As a cold beverage urn or pitcher it stands about 10 ½ inches tall. It can make up to 8 cups of coffee and holds up to 2 quarts of other liquid beverages. All of the parts are shown in the picture below. The Guardian Service logo is on the bottom of the pot / pitcher. The pot / pitcher and all of its parts are very clean and in very good condition and the pot does sit level. This Guardian beverage urn is described in the original advertisements as great for coffee or iced drinks! What a great addition to your cookware and serveware collection!
