Vintage Cowboys Turtle Association by Roper Western Shirt Mens XL White Black

This vintage late 1980's Western shirt is a unique find, featuring the Cowboys' Turtle Association branding by Roper. The Turtles were the first organized group of professional rodeo athletes, formed in 1936, making this a great piece of rodeo history. It features classic Western styling with black piping along the collar, placket, and yokes. The front yokes include distinctive arrow-point "smile" pocket details. It is constructed from a durable 60% cotton and 40% polyester blend and was made in the USA. The shirt is in excellent vintage condition overall, though there is some slight discoloration on the back as shown in the photos. Given the fabric blend, this should likely lift with a focused cleaning or soak.
