Emerald green long velvet dress, gown. Vintage, handmade

smoke-free home. my grandmother made this dress for my mother. it is vintage. probably 60 years old. it is an emerald green velvet dress. straight and long. comes to the floor. has a satin lining. if you're someone who sews, it would actually make fantastic pillows. the material is so soft. my grandmother sewed some dreads at neck line. zips up the back. very plain. no slits, no pockets. measurements are: from shoulder to hem approximately 55" Long shoulder to shoulder approximately 15.5 across. from armpit to armpit approximately 20 in across. dress is straight. so across the hips and waist it's about 20" as well. there is a tag inside that says 14. but I'm not sure what that's from. you can tell from the inside it was made. would absolutely be gorgeous for a night wedding or for a holiday party.
