austen925 @sherm98 Hi. Yes. The feathers are attached by the stag head pin.

sherm98 I have a few questions. Is there a hole or tear in the ribbon where the pin went through, or just compression? Is the ribbon discolored or stained underneath where the pin sits? Can you post a photo of that spot on the ribbon with the pin/feather completely removed? Is the ribbon stitched to the hat or is it removable/replaceable?

austen925 @sherm98 Hi. Yes, there are holes where the pin is on the ribbon. That's why I kept it there. The ribbon is not discolored or stained. I do not want to remove the pin & feathers because I will never get it back to the same place. I would probably make even more holes in the ribbon if I do this. The ribbon is attached to the hat. The cushion inside the hat is removable; it is attached by Velcro sewn into the hat. I hope I have answered all of your questions.

sherm98 Yes. It answers my questions. I am concerned because I want to use the hat primarily to wear while golfing and I wouldn’t want the lovely pin on there when I am playing. I am thinking I will need to replace the ribbon if I choose to remove it if the holes are too large. I like the pin on the hat for other occasions, just not for golf.

sherm98 Thank you. I’m excited for it. I think I may buy a smaller golf broach to place on there while golfing and use the feather for other outings. Thanks so much!
