1950’s Vintage Japan glass or alabaster pearls

This is a very, rich-looking, vintage, mid-century 1950s, multi-strand, faux-pearl, choker/necklace stamped Japan. It is a 4 strand, graduated, pearl necklace that adjusts from 14.5 to 17 inches in length. I am not sure of the fake-pearl content, but they are heavy so perhaps their base is made of alabaster I dont know. It is comprised of 1 copper strand, 2 beige strands & 1 off-white/cream strand of very, lustrous pearls that fall & drape elegantly. The pearls are strung on beading thread and the findings and J-hook are made of silver-tone metal. This type of classic, pearl necklace never goes out of style and this beauty is in excellent condition.
