Sorry about the delay, I was out of town. These jeans are super stretchy. I bought them optimistically because I love them too and can't find them anywhere. The waist is 14" lying flat. They had tags when I bought them, so I removed the tags and washed them, but they are too tight in the waist and long for me, so they actually have never been worn. I think they would fit a 10.
