A black and white porcelain-like glass rooster planter. No identifying marks. Features detailed accents in black on a white body. Stands approximately 8 inches tall and is approximately 6 inches as widest point. The opening to the planter area approximately 1 3/4 x 1 1/2 inches wide and approximately 3 3/4 inches deep. It is not a big planter. The front 2 inches of the planter has little holes in it that go through to the planting area. There is evidence of red paint having been on the front of the rooster as noted by red paint in the holes. Also evidence of the roosters comb and wattles being red. There are specks of red paint over surfaces that were probably painted red at one time. I bought this 25+ years ago and it looked as depicted in my pictures now. Other flaws: The back side of the comb is chipped. The roosters wattles has a chip. There are pock marks on the side and an abrasion in the black paint. The back side of the planter opening has an approximate three-quarter inch chip that has had black paint or magic marker put over it. The surface there is dull at the chip. The paint on the very base of the rooster is uneven and rough with some small chips. Sold as is. The flaws have been photographed as described. Please review pictures as they are the planters description.
