At its heart is an extraordinary 1892 French hand-coloured poster of a woman astride a rearing horse, her banner flying defiantly in the wind and emblazoned with the words The Revolution is Love. Around her, the design blooms with flowers and rosettes borrowed from artwork of the same era, while French lions rest at her feet, embodying courage and strength. The columns with beribboned banners bearing messages of hope, faith, and beauty are taken from an 1870’s lithograph, as is the little sword and antique book etched with the timeless words: love one another. Rendered in vintage hues of faded red, sunwashed blue, soft green, and aged ivory, Love Revolution carries the romance of something both timeless and quietly radical. Every detail breathes with the idea that beauty, hope, and love are not fragile things—they are forces, capable of transforming the world one fearless heart at a time.
