Antique Victorian 1870s solid 10kt gold Fede clasped hands woven hair ring 11.5

At over 150 years old, this piece is in spectacular shape. There are minor darkened areas where the alloy present in the gold has tarnished however I don't dare attempt to apply polish to remove it lest I damage the hair. Constructed of delicate guaranteed solid 10k embossed sheet gold, this gorgeous sentimental piece features clasped hands symbolizing deep love and friendship. The light brown hair is nearly perfect after all this time with only a small slighty frazzled area, expertly braided in fine detail. A nearly identical match to this ring can be seen in the 1870 edition of A. Bernhard & Co. Catalogue. Size 11.5 and weighs 0.72 grams.
