Vintage 1960s Plus Size Beaded Dress & Coat Set Raw Silk Pink Jackie O Size 16W

Styled by Andora- Soft blush pink over coat and beaded dress set from the 1960s. A rare vintage find in a true plus size (measurements shown below) 16W/18W with a tailored silhouette this regal, classy set is the embodiment of the 1960’s fashion. The Dress: The pale pink raw silk knee length dress is built to flatter curves. With cap sleeves, a chic tear drop cutout at the neckline surrounded by beautiful gold and silver hand beading (the beadwork from the back is a masterpiece!). It has a rear zip closure and the zipper is in excellent condition. The Coat: Button-front closure and classic pointed collar. Beautiful, pale pink, raw silk textured fabric for a polished finish with two functional pockets. Dress measurements: Bust: ~ 40 inches Waist: ~ 38 inches Hips: ~ 44 inches Length: ~ 36 inches Coat Measurements: Bust: ~ 44 inches Waist: ~ 42 inches Length: ~ 37 inches Condition: It’s in excellent condition given its age with none to minimal signs of wear, there is a water stain up by the beading which looks like it could be treated as well as a few other smaller water spots throughout the jacket and dress. The zipper and buttons are in excellent condition and aren’t fragile, frail or finicky. It has been carefully stored in a smoke free, pet free environment.
