Vtg MCM Bird Applique Coverlet Sheet Full Double White Blue Cotton Scallop Hem

This coverlet is not without its imperfections, discolorations, repairs and broken stitching (pictured), but they're all minor in my opinion, given the age of this piece. I'm guessing maybe the 1940's. The bird appliques all look intact. This is the weight of a heavy sheet, and it is unfinished on one side, which made me decide it was a coverlet rather than a tablecloth. An exquisite, unique thing of beauty.
