A GORE-TEX jacket is a workhorse that’s nice and light but extra durable for long life, this jacket is the ultimate in wet-weather protection. Heat-releasing PitZips and 100% seam taping mean zero leaks while the adjustable drawcord hem cinches to block cold air.
This jacket is still in great condition. Even with the small patch in the hood, I have stayed dry in heavy rain and warm in the wind. Sadly the medium has become a little tight with layers underneath.
