This stunning piece is made with two 2k each natural larimar gemstones and a crisp deep blue .5k sapphire set in solid 925 sterling silver with 24k gold findings and white gold accents. The "Jewel Planet" Connection: In a fitting coincidence, astronomers have identified a class of "Hot Jupiter" exoplanets (such as WASP-121b and HAT-P-7b) with atmospheres so extreme that they are theorized to have clouds made of corundum—the mineral that forms sapphires and rubies—which may literally rain down onto the planet.
