For sale is a classic, authentic Louis Vuitton Speedy 40 in the iconic Monogram canvas. This is the largest size in the Speedy line, making it an excellent choice for a spacious daily bag or a stylish weekend travel carry-on.
Condition: Good vintage condition. The monogram canvas is vibrant and well-maintained. The Vachetta leather handles and trim have developed a beautiful, deep honey patina.
Imperfections: There is a small tear in the canvas near the zipper track (see photos). The zipper still functions, but please review the images carefully for this detail.
Inclusions: Comes with the original authentic LV brass lock and one (1) matching key.
Interior: Clean textile lining with one internal slip pocket.

@conundrum13 Just zipper separated you will probably have to get a new zipper installed from a cobbler. That is why the price is so low. These go for twice the amount I am charging.

Hi! How long is the rip/hole? Is there more than one? Would you post a photo of the other tab on the inside - the tab opposite the SA tab? Also a photo of the entire top of the purse which shows good pictures of the entire zipper with tabs showing? I will check tomorrow on the cost of zipper replacement. Thank you for letting me know. 🌹

Could you post the photos I requested? Where did you acquire this bag? How do you know this was made in the 80’s? Actually, I was mistaken and there are typically date codes until after the 80s.

@conundrum13 The zipper photos are uploaded. The more I unzip it the more torn the zipper tape rips. The zipper will have to be replaced. That is all that is needed. There is no date code that I can find. That is all I can tell you. Amazon authenticated it.

@conundrum13 I’m doing the best I can to help you. I just added another picture from the top. Again, whether it’s a small rip in the zipper tape or now a bigger one, the zipper will have to be replaced. That is the only thing wrong with this bag. There is no date code that I can find but I attached the Amazon authentication.

I am interested. One quick question: does the zipper have the leather tab at the end? Because on some pics the tab is on there and on others , there is no tab shown at the end of the zipper. I just want to know if I would have to purchase a tab when the zipper is fixed
