Mid-Century Hand-Pieced Star Summer Weight Quilt - Blue Bound Coverlet - Scrappy Calico & Gingham 8-Point Star This stunning, entirely hand-stitched summer-weight coverlet features the classic LeMoyne Star (8-point star) pattern. Each star is a unique "scrappy" composition of vintage calico prints, ginghams, and solid fabrics, meticulously hand-appliquéd onto a crisp white ground. No batting. This is a lightweight, two-layer textile (decorated top and back-sheet) finished with a vibrant blue binding. Condition Details: • Vintage Charm: This piece shows signs of its history, including some light "age spots" or yellowing on the white (see photos). These are typical for stored vintage textiles and add to its authentic character. • Integrity: The hand-stitching remains tight and the blue binding is secure. No major holes or "shattered" fabric noted. One tiny hole only and is shown in photo. It is on the back. I did not attempt to remove the yellowing.
