A vintage signed Cleo Teissedre Storyteller in an earth-tone clay with bright painted accents. The Mother wears a traditional dress with moccasins and a beautiful turquoise necklace. This was crafted in 1988 and I believe the storytellers are no longer made so they are rapidly becoming collectible. This has incredible detail and is one of the larger pieces measuring 7" X 7" X 5.5" with a weight of just under 2 lbs. Pic 2 shows marks along the base otherwise it's in excellent condition. Cleo (1930-2020) was known for her Tiles and Storytellers. The Storytellers were instrumental in furthering the tribe's history and culture. An interesting collectible piece for a Native American or boho decor! Thanks for looking!
