taramae333Ive been wearing mine for over a decade... I JUST learned the scroll secret about 3 months ago. It says a mantra : om mani padme hum. And perhaps more mantras. Its said NOT to remove the scroll from the prayer wheel. As it is a serious "job". Its an artform with big spiritual energy, love and kindness but into each piece. I appreciate your help. Im very interested im gonna throw you an offer. I just need to look at my $$ situation!! Thanx so much Blessings Tracy

jessies_jumble@taramae333 There is no opening or way to unscrew the pendant that I can find. When shaken I can feel something moving inside though.

taramae333Hi!! See the itty-bitty screw at the bottom of it not at the top where you would like put your chain in but at the bottom there's a little itty-bitty screw if it doesn't come off it's OK but if you shake it and feel it, that's cool. It's the school is in there if you get it open please do not take the scroll out. They're put in by Tibetan monks written and made by hand and blessed by multiple monks it's a it's a process I do I wear one. I've worn one for many many years

jessies_jumble@taramae333 Upon further investigation…I can’t unscrew it but it definitely comes apart. It has a small amount of movement at the top of the canister. It looks like a lid that would come off if loosened. I don’t want to break or disturb it. Definitely something inside.
