In 1927, Hershey Estates was created and assumed the responsibility of the Hershey Improvement Company and all non-chocolate businesses. Hershey Estates became part of the holdings for the benefit of the Milton Hershey's orphanage for boys. It was around until 1976 and managed 33 separate companies. The soaps are from approximately the 1930s/1940s. This rare box from the Hershey Estates in Hershey, Pennsylvania, contains 3 sealed 3.5oz bars of Hershey’s Cocoa Butter Toilet soap. “ This soap is made from cocoa butter and other vegetable oils.
