This is a unique, vintage, Hawaiian lei, beautifully hand-made of large dark brown kukui nut beads separated by rows of smaller seed beads (I am unsure what fruit or nut these smaller seed beads come from). This wonderful piece captures the abundant natural beauty of the Hawaiian islands; these pieces are traditionally worn for celebrations such as weddings, graduations, etc., and is in very good condition. Total length from ribbon end to ribbon end is 50 inches - length from each kukui nut end to end is 35 inches.
