I bought this stunning Native American handmade necklace with natural turquoise stones over 10 years ago at the annual Indian Summer Festival that came to the famous Summerfest grounds in Milwaukee, WI from a Native American artist who was selling his beautiful creations. I bought this less bulky style so I could wear to work and look more feminine. It features a lobster clasp and is 16-inches long from end to end. Fun to layer with other necklaces. Such craftsmanship and aesthetic appeal combined. Metaphysically, Turquoise is considered to be a bridge between Heaven/Sky and Earth, grounding us while still remaining open to Spirit. Many Native American cultures believe Turquoise helps to connect the mind to the infinite possibilities of the Universe, and Turquoise is considered sacred in many Chinese cultures as well. This necklace is lightweight and comfortable, making it ideal for everyday wear. It adds a pop of color and a Southwestern vibe to your outfit. You can pair this simple Turquoise necklace with anything. This is a wonderful piece that is unique because of the natural stones. (non-smoking home)

riotgurl01 This is so beautiful! Are the stones green and blue turquoise? I am trying to tell from the photos. Thank you so much! ❤️

glitterfades @riotgurl01 hi there-did you get a chance to read description? I would just restate that and that I paid a good amount for it from a Native American artist at a Native American festival-I kinda had to trust what he told me when I bought it but he seemed legit to me and I worked at a Native American company for 20 years-does that help?

riotgurl01 @glitterfades yes, I did read the description. Trying to decipher from the pictures whether or not they are saturated, whether or not the stones are more green or blue. Does that make sense?

riotgurl01 Trying to understand the color of the turquoise. I have some greenish turquoise I’m trying to match with, and just checking to see if these are more blue. Sorry, I don’t mean to be annoying! Just trying to get more info. Thank you so much.

glitterfades @riotgurl01 you are not annoying me at all LOL! so in my Graphic Designer/Artist opinion, I see a mixture of green and blues-it's very detailed as far as the mixture of colors-hope that helps

glitterfades @riotgurl01 I was just thinking about this so I looked it up about the color thing, kinda interesing: Turquoise is technically a blue-green color that sits directly between the two on the color spectrum. While it contains green, it is equally a shade of blue. Geologically, color variations occur naturally: Blue hues: Dominate when the stone forms with higher concentrations of copper. Green hues: Dominate when trace amounts of iron are present
