Since this is an apron, it should easily fit an 18 month old correct? I guess the only thing in question would be the hood on the cape

It could definitely fit an 18 months old. The cape is very generous in size too. Let me see if I can post a photo of my granddaughter wearing it in the photo section. That may give you an idea.
