Incredible antique horse weather vane topper copper? salvage piece

This is incredible! It is a vintage horse on a pole; it appears to be copper but I am not sure; the horse is missing his tale but still an amazing piece; measures 28" long, 10 1/2" high at the horses head. This will be a stunning addition to your gallery wall; I have some amazing things listed from a local estate sale; be sure to take a look.
