Vintage 1950s Art-Craft Aluminum Cat Eye Glasses – Frames with Floral Inlay

Authentic mid-century Art-Craft aluminum cat eye glasses with beautiful floral silver inlay at the corners. Classic 1950s/60s ladies’ frames in a brown/bronze finish with amber ear tips. Currently fitted with older prescription lenses; perfect for re-lensing with your own prescription or tinted lenses, or for use as a display or costume piece. The temples are slender aluminum with a slight sculpted contour, transitioning to amber tortoiseshell-style plastic ear tips that curve comfortably around the ear, again consistent with 1950s aluminum cat eye frames. Current lenses appear to be the original or older prescription lenses and will likely need to be replaced if the buyer intends to wear the frames. Overall condition is fair vintage: there is noticeable finish wear and pitting on the aluminum (especially on the temples and around the hinges), some discoloration on the ear tips, and light scratches and dust on the lenses; hinges still open and close, and the frame appears structurally sound.
