Handwoven Siscal Fiber Boho Basket

This basket is handwoven from sisal (cactus) fibers after squeezing out the cactus juice. The sisal is intricately wrapped around grass or banana leaf. Traditionally given as a gift to symbolize a long and happy life, this highly collectible basket was handmade in Swaziland from Sisal fibers gathered from the sisal plant. It is a great statement piece in your home and also functional (ideal for holding jewelry, keys, or fruit - a perfectly stylish catchall!)
