Vintage Handmade Split Quilt Pattern Back Tie Clown Bloomer Costume for Child/Teen in Red & Yellow Details: - Handmade clown costume - Vintage, most likely 1970s - 1980s - 3 poof balls down the front - Split pattern - Bloomer style bottoms - Elastic bands at the end of both arms & legs - Ties at the back with a shoe string (adjustable) - Open slit down the back, closes when tied - Solid side color is bright red - Quilted side colors are blue, red, yellow, green, white - Quilted pattern has classic fun, floral details mixed in - Fit is meant to be baggy but inseam is short so definitely meant for a child/teen/petite - Feels like cotton material Measurements (laid flat): Pit to pit - 22 1/2” Full length - 39” Inseam - 18.5” Sleeve length - 19 3/4” This vintage costume is in great condition. There is one flaw from my inspection. At the end of the opening in the back it has a small tear, less than an inch long. (Can be seen in listing photos) Also added photos of the inside, you can see where it was pieced together but no damage or wear. It’s a pretty simple design. Ties at the back with a shoe string. Elastics still hold, no dry rot. Clean and adorable. 🎪🤹🎠 No other signs of wear, tear, rips, pilling, fraying, stains or smells.
