Vintage cedar wood keepsake box with hinged lid and small metal latch closure. Footed base. Lid features two decoupage Mediterranean coastal landscape scenes — stone architecture, water, and a figure — framed by gold scroll-work border on a warm cedar ground. Box has been painted blue over the exterior at some point. Paint is peeling and chipping, particularly at the corners and lid edges. Decoupage panels show crazing/cracking consistent with age.
