“Battered but not Broken” This necklace holds a mystery of time that has passed. Its focal piece, a weathered pottery shard that I found while wandering in the shallow waters of St. Joe Bay. The weathered pottery piece has its own special beauty, reminding us that we all have the ability to recreate ourselves in some different form, although our original purpose in time may have passed. Wire wrapped with gold tone wire and suspended on a generous 24” handcrafted chain of repurposed glass beads that are also weathered from surviving the destruction of my original studio on 10-10-18 to category 5, Hurricane Michael in Mexico Beach, Florida….
