Amazing antique King, Son & Co. (Pittsburgh, PA 1869-1891), Uranium glass oil lamp. This highly collectible No. 24, (“Daisy in Panel”/“Daisy in the Square”/“Two Panel”), pattern was introduced in 1885. This EAPG lamp with crimped top chimney glows intensely under UV light-see photos. The intact burner is made of brass. The chimney prongs/tines & thumb wheel/wick adjuster contain iron. The brass has a natural patina, and the iron containing parts have oxidation. There is no wick. There is 1 chip on the lantern-see photo, and one very small chip to the chimney-see photo. The base (with burner attached) is approximately 9 1/2 inches tall to the top of the burner and 4 3/4 inches in diameter. The chimney is approximately 7 3/8 inches tall and 3 1/2 inches in diameter. Sold as found, in wonderful antique condition.
