This is a very lovely Ghost Crystal ring in a large square shape set in a pretty frame with simple band. Ghost Crystal, also known as Phantom Quartz, are prized for their unique interior "ghosts" or "phantoms". Ghost Crystal is an umbrella term for transparent crystals of various minerals such as quartz, calcite, fluorite, tourmaline, and others with similar properties. Specimens of these stones that can be called "Ghost Crystal" are the ones that show unusual, ghost-like crystallizations or blemishes inside their more transparent mass.
