80s vintage colorful sparkly floral abstract print knit sweater with pom poms

this is a lovely vintage acrylic sweater from the 1980s featuring a knitted abstract rose design in shades of red, blue and green with glittery silver threads throughout! the sweater has a cream colored knit base and it features a crew neckline (neck opening is quite tight) and bracelet-length dolman style sleeves. the sweater features the cutest hanging pom pom details around the neckline and the right bottom hem; kindly note that it looks like there was once an adjustable pom pom drawstring around the neck, but it appears to have been repaired/mended and is no longer adjustable. the fabric is a pure acrylic that is loosely woven, a bit see through, and unlined, and it has a bit of an itch, so please be aware if you have sensitive skin. love the boho vibes to this bold sweater, and also that it is suitable to wear in all seasons! tagged as womens size medium and I would say this fits true to size. in good vintage condition besides mending around neckline drawstring (which no longer is adjustable) and light fraying throughout~ measurements (lying flat): neck opening: 7” bust (pit to pit): 19.5” across (39” when doubled) – approximate as there are no pit seams sleeve inseam (pit to sleeve cuff): 18” – replacement measurement for sleeve length, as there is no shoulder seam armpit to bottom hem: 10.5” centre back length (without collar): 22” bottom hem opening: 19”
