Northern Watters Knitwear Wool Sweater – Size 36 (refer to description) - Cream

A Prince Edward Island classic, this unisex pullover sweater by Northern Watters Knitwear remains one of their best sellers. Inspired by Aran Knit wool sweaters, the front features a fisherman knit pattern stitch, and a detailed diamond pattern with dual tree pattern design. Made of 100% British worsted wool on a traditional loom, it has a crew neck and turn back cuffs. Although this sweater was originally a size 36, it has significantly shrunk. In its current condition, it measures 15” from pit-to-pit and 18” long; the sleeves are 19” long. This piece is suited to a child or small/slender adult. As a result of the shrinking, the fibers have felted and the texture of the sweater is dense and stiff. Northern Watters Knitwear purchased the assets of Great Northern Knitters in 2007, and continued the tradition of creating handmade sweaters, scarves and hats in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.
