This beautiful signed Waterford Crystal round paperweight features a pineapple cut into the flat underside of the piece in an intaglio style. It is likely from their Hospitality Collection, which focuses on pineapple designs, though I have not been able to find another example of these solid round flat-top pieces with the cut pineapple on the bottom. While the 3-D pineapple paperweights shaped like an actual pineapple seem to be fairly common, this item appears to be more unique and rare. The top is smooth, the bottom has the cut pineapple design, and the sides are beautifully faceted. It is a chonky piece of crystal weighing nearly a pound.
