Vintage Hammered Brass Torque Collar Necklace | Mid-Century Modernist Choker

This item is in good vintage condition. There is noticeable surface oxidation and dark spotting (tarnish), particularly on the interior and edges, typical of solid brass. The hand-hammered dimpling remains crisp and well-defined without significant smoothing or heavy scratches. The form appears symmetrical with no visible crimps, deep dents, or warping. The bulbous finials are intact and secure. This piece is a classic vintage hammered brass torque (or torc) collar/choker necklace. The dimples and handcrafted texture was a staple of Brutalist and Modernist jewelry from the 1960s and 70s. This choker necklace fits small, so please see the photos for the measurements/scale.
