John Richmond printed canvas & leather slip-on sneakers, EU40, deadstock/flaws

These cool street-style slip-on sneakers by British designer John Richmond feature a winged skull motif printed on the canvas uppers, with a full leather lining, elastic panels and a padded collar. This pair is from dead stock and has never been worn, but there are some flaws due to long-term storage - there are yellowed stains around the inside of the padded ankle collar (not noticeable while wearing), and slight yellowing of the canvas uppers, likely bleed-through from the adhesive used for the leather lining. The rubber soles were also severely yellowed; I was able to correct that with 30vol bleaching cream and an afternoon in the sun (handy trick if you have yellowed sneakers). Despite the 'extra-distressed' aging, the classic John Richmond punk/rocknroll aesthetic makes this an eye-catching pair of kicks. Sadly for me, this pair fits very small - I can't even get my feet into them, as they're very tight across the arch, even with the elastic panels. In theory, the length should work for a size 9.5, but only if you have a very slender foot and arch. Otherwise, I'd say these should work for a medium to narrow size 9, perhaps even a size 8.5. If you like your streetwear with a unique, vintage punk aesthetic, you definitely won't run into this pair anywhere else.
