Add a touch of celestial charm to your home with this beautiful pair of hand-painted ceramic tiles. Hard to find pair.
These vintage pieces feature a classic Sun and Crescent Moon design in the traditional Mexican Tonala folk art style. Not thrifted I purchased these a long time ago in Mexico.
The sun tile is intricately detailed with radiating earth-toned rays, while the moon tile captures a serene crescent face accented by delicate blue stars.
Both tiles have a rustic, glazed finish (the background reads more light grey than off white) and are perfect for wall display, on a shelf, or as a vibrant addition to a tile project.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition with minor surface wear consistent with age, adding to their rustic character. Bit hard to photograph since there's a glaze on the tile that reflects light back. Also the closeup of the sun you will see some lint from a paper towel.
Photos: After taking photos I wrapped each tile up for storage and then remembered PM only always certain size photos. If a serious buyer requests I will take them out of storage to take additional photos. Hoping not to handle them too much.
Dimensions: Approximately 4" x 4" each
