Vintage JJ Jonette Animal Fox Brooch Pin Gold Tone w/Red Eyes 1980s Signed

Charming brooch/pin from vintage jeweler Jonette Jewelry Company (aka: JJ). The brooch is a stylized gold tone detailed fox with ruby-red eyes. Extremely well made. About Jonette Jewelry Company (JJ): “JJ” was the registered trademark of the Jonette Jewelry Company. The company was founded in 1935 by Abraham Lisker, and originally named the Providence Jewelry Company. When Abraham’s brother (Nathan) joined the company, the name was changed to Lisker and Lisker, Inc. Production ceased during WWII. When it restarted after the war, the company was renamed Jonette Jewelry. The company made a wide range of jewelry pieces throughout most of the 20th century – all with expressive subjects, and fine craftsmanship. Although production stopped in 2008, their pieces remain highly sought after by collectors. Measurements: 1¼” x 1¾” Condition: This brooch is in excellent (near pristine) vintage condition. All of the stones are present, and the clasp is in good working order. Signed.
