Vintage 50s/60s Candy Striper Volunteer, Striped White & Pink Pinafore Apron. There are two patches on the apron, one star and one marked “GSH”. When I found this apron, there was a note in the pocket ID’ing this from “Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton Ohio”. This piece is so cute and a great piece of hospital history! This would be great for a collector, costume or you could use as an apron around the house! “Snowhite” tag, but the care/content is faded. Modeled on a small/XS mannequin with a 33” bust and 26.4” waist. Please compare measurements for best fit. Overall you can tell this apron was well used and loved, selling as fair vintage condition. I Overall there is some yellowing and some age spots. I did a basic wash, not sure if the spots may come out with more aggressive treatment. There is some repairs around the collar and a repaired hole at the front. The back snaps and the snaps show some paint loss. At the back side on the side there is some raw edges and seams. There is an area where the chest connects to the waistband that needs restitched. Small hole near the bottom front. Please review all photos. I’m limited to only posting 16 pics.
