Vintage Japanese stoneware teapot featuring a rich dark green speckled and mottled glaze on both the exterior and fully glazed interior. The faceted (hexagonal-style) body has a short angular spout, complemented by a dark wooden handle attached with a brass/metal bracket and rivets, plus a matching brass-colored metal collar around the rim. The wooden lid has an aged patina and knob finial. This mid-century modern style teapot dates to approximately the 1960s–1980s. It measures about 6 inches tall and weighs roughly 2.46 lbs empty. Condition: Better than Good vintage condition with expected glaze crazing, minor wear to the wood and brass patina from age and use. No chips, cracks, or repairs noted.
