MCM Teak Wood Cat Toothpick Holder Standard Specialty Japan w Sticker

This MCM cat toothpick holder was made in Japan for Standard Specialty, a prolific importer/distributor in the 1950s/1960s. It's in very good vintage condition, from its glowy orange applied eyes to its little blue button nose to the original sticker. The teak wood finish shows some wear, could be refreshed with some mineral oil (but do NOT oil the applied features such as eyes, nose, or whiskers). A great piece of cat-themed MCM kitsch!
